ECVA Welcomes Lauren Kalinowski, OD
Eye Care & Vision Associates (ECVA) is excited to announce that Lauren Kalinowski, OD has joined our team as the newest optometrist. Starting July 21, 2025, Dr. Kalinowski will be seeing patients at ECVA’s Orchard Park, Elmwood Village (Buffalo), and Niagara Falls offices. She brings over a decade of experience in eye care to the practice and is well-known for her friendly, patient-focused approach.
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Kalinowski, whose expertise will help meet the growing eye care needs of patients across Western New York. Her arrival expands ECVA’s capacity to serve the community, ensuring that individuals and families throughout the Buffalo-Niagara region have greater access to comprehensive eye care services close to home. As Western New York’s population grows and ages, the demand for eye care continues to increase. By bringing on another experienced optometrist, ECVA can accommodate more patients and continue providing timely, high-quality care without compromising its personal touch.
A Western New York Optometrist with Over a Decade of Experience
Dr. Lauren Kalinowski, a Williamsville resident, earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2012 after completing a biology degree at SUNY Geneseo. She has spent more than a decade providing attentive, patient-focused vision care across Western New York.
Since 2016 she has delivered comprehensive eye exams, fit contact lenses, and managed conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal disorders. She also collaborates closely with ophthalmologists to guide patients through pre- and post-operative cataract care, experience she now brings to ECVA’s integrated care model.
Active in national, state, and regional optometric associations, Dr. Kalinowski stays current with emerging advances so every patient receives confident, top-quality care.
Comprehensive Eye Care and Ocular Disease Management
At ECVA, Dr. Lauren Kalinowski will deliver full-scope exams, contact-lens fittings, and expert management of glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disorders, medical-retina issues, and diabetic eye disease, and other vision-threatening conditions. She also counsels candidates on LASIK eye surgery and provides pre- and post-procedure care alongside our surgical team. Using advanced diagnostics such as OCT scans and visual-field testing, she catches problems early and crafts individualized treatment plans.
These same tools support ECVA’s comprehensive medical-retina exams and diabetic-eye-care protocols, ensuring precise monitoring for at-risk patients.
She also specializes in surgical co-management, handling pre-op evaluations, guiding patients through cataract-surgery recovery, and working seamlessly with ECVA’s ophthalmologists. Her experience with premium cataract-surgery options helps patients choose the lenses and techniques best suited to their lifestyle. Certified to prescribe both topical and oral therapeutics, Dr. Kalinowski offers patients the convenience of complete, on-site eye care.
She is additionally trained in pediatric ophthalmology, giving children and teens the same high level of attentive, age-appropriate care ECVA is known for.

Dr. Kalinowski will be available for appointments at three ECVA locations: Orchard Park, Elmwood Village (Buffalo), and Niagara Falls. She will begin seeing patients on July 21, 2025, and is currently accepting new patients at all three offices.
