The Windom Fire Department has scheduled a controlled burn for training purposes on Saturday, November 25 at 3712 Southwestern Boulevard.
Eye Care and Vision Associates (ECVA) will build a new office on the site and decided to offer the building to the firefighters for practice, rather than having it demolished. ECVA will also host a hot dog roast for the firefighters during the training exercise.
ECVA will build the new office to accommodate a growing Southtowns practice.
“We require additional space to accommodate the needs of our patients,” George W. Pfohl, M.D., said “Building a free-standing structure from the ground up allows us to design it for specific patient flows and accommodate state-of-the-art equipment.”
The office will include a full-service optical shop and is expected to open in late summer 2007.
ECVA is one of Western New York’s leading full-service eye care medical practices, providing diagnosis and treatment for the entire family. Skilled ophthalmologists, optometrists and opticians apply the most advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment for eye conditions and disorders to help patients maintain healthy sight throughout their lifetime.
The philosophy of Eye Care & Vision Associates, LLP is to bring the highest quality medical care possible to each patient, and to provide that care in a manner consistent with the patient’s wishes. This is accomplished through ECVA’s four full-service, state-of-the-art offices in the Western New York area.
